These terms are between you and Martin Zokov, who makes LumaFrets ("we"), and cover the LumaFrets app, Pro and themes. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it.

The app

You may install and use LumaFrets on your own computers, for your own practice. You may not sell, rent out or redistribute it, or pass off a changed copy as ours. The open source parts inside it stay under their own licences (see Open source), and nothing here limits what those licences let you do with them.

Pro and themes

Pro and themes are bought once, from Creem, who sell them to you as merchant of record, under Creem's terms, and handle payment, tax and receipts. What you buy is a licence key, for you, on as many of your computers as the key allows. Keep it to yourself: a key that's shared, sold or published may be turned off.

Pro downloads what its features need once you've activated it. The app checks your licence now and then when you're online. It never stops working because you're offline.

Your music and your tabs

LumaFrets doesn't sell, host or download songs or tabs. The tabs and audio files you open, and the videos you play along with, are yours to have the rights to use. Only use what you own or are allowed to use. Separating a song into its parts happens on your computer, only for your own audio files, and nothing of it is uploaded.

YouTube videos play in YouTube's own player, under YouTube's terms of service. By playing a video in LumaFrets you agree to those terms as well.

No warranty

We work hard to make LumaFrets good and reliable, but it's provided as it is, without any warranty that it will be free of faults or suit a particular purpose, as far as the law allows. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that can't be taken away by contract.

Changes

We may update these terms, and will change the date above when we do. If a change matters to what you've bought, we'll say so in the app.
